This large thatched farmhouse with its large garden was an opportunity for the creation of connected garden spaces flowing easily into each other, but with each garden room having an identity of its own.
The aim was as always to connect the house to nature with ornamental gardens, vegetable gardens and playful gardens with a hot tub. The individual gardens each have their own delights and area of seating.
The front area borrows the view out over the fields with reflective circular water features to attract birds and bees in the foreground, and deer sculptures creating the feel of country living in the background.
The side square garden has been walled and has a large greenhouse and straight paths allowing access around the raised vegetable beds. There is room enough for organic vegetables and fresh fruit creating an Autumn harvest to look forward to.
Walking around the rear of the house will take you to the ornamental garden of white, blues and purples and the fun and relaxation of the hot tub. The whole garden flows beautifully but perhaps the entrance with its avenue of parasol trees running alongside the pavers provides the greatest wow factor.
